Thu, November 16, 2006 - 5:34 PMVictor Horta has been a long-time inspiration for me. Also Antoni Gaudi... but I love Horta for his incredible, sensual use of metal supporting glass. My sculptural architectural work aspires to achieve a similar sort of effect on a low budget. Art Nouveau Architecture is perhaps my favorite book, which I bought and began studying some 25 years ago.

I actually have WMF LOVERS CENTREPIECE, a jardiniere in pewter but unfortunately mine is not in as good condition.
